Applandeo – polish software house, established in 2014 and based in Krakow. We specalize in providing comprehensive web & mobile solutions for business clients from all over the world. So far we have delivered several dozen projects using such technologies as: AngularJS, PHP, JAVA, .NET, applications for Android and iOS. We are also an Authorized Xamarin Consulting Partner. We love to support initiatives that allow future developers to gain knowledge and practical skills useful in their future work. That is why we decided to be a partner of Programming School WSEI.

At Vimanet we are very enthusiastic about Microsoft tools and technologies. Since company was founded we are also actively engaged in the partners’ network. We believe that smart people is the foundation of every company, thus learning and sharing knowledge is the core of our business. We consider partnership with WSEI college as a great opportunity to share our vast experience with young people that enter technology world. Our partnership will include trainings, mentoring, events and meetups.

In Sabre we mostly focus on practical skills, that’s why our cooperation with Programming School of WSEI was quite natural. Their guidelines and syllabus parallel our business requirements, which means that we value practical coding skills but teamwork and logical thinking also count. There are never too many good programmers in Kraków, so it is a really good undertaking. Congratulations!

It is a very interesting and attractive proposition both for IT companies and students who get a really professional training in coding. In my personal opinion the level of this course is way higher than a level at reputable IT universities in Poland. Companies get well-trained employees who acquired good programming skills, foreign language knowledge and teamwork abilities. What is even more important, a candidate has managed in an IT project which was realised in Microsoft environment and standards, supervised by specialists, who work in well established IT companies. For me, there is no better existing concept on the market.

Programming School of WSEI offers its participants an attractive syllabus based on Microsoft technologies and supports junior programmers in pursuing fulfilling careers. In Avantida Polad we believe that this kind of activities run by experts, will inspire and support young people who want to have a try at IT. We made a decision to cooperate with Programming School of WSEI because of the potential we can see in their strategy. Their intensive syllabus will attract ambitious students with passion for technology. The kind of students we would like to win today.

As In’saneLab we chose Xamarin because of two simple reasons. The first one is possibility to create truly native applications for many platforms at the same time. The second reason is an enormous technical Microsoft background. We see a great potential in Xamarine. I am deeply convinced that our collaboration with Programming School of WSEI and the college will help to promote the concept and to spread specialist knowledge of this technology.

It can be assumed that an enormous part of the market will depend on IT and almost everyone will have something to do with it. Even if you don’t want to code, everything around you will become more and more dependent on computers and software. It will be crucial to look for solutions, learn independently, be creative and gain social skills. We can change a career path in any moment we feel we want to do it. There is always point in doing what we like. How does it feel to be a woman in IT? I guess it is similar to any other career.
